Our favorite time of the year is here! The holiday always gives us a time to look back on the relationships we built, the coffees we roasted, and all of the friends that we served in 2025. We want to take the opportunity to cap off the year with a special blend that celebrates the thematic direction of our coffee offerings this year. We resonated with familiar and comfortable flavors that connected with us emotionally. We also spent a lot of time highlighting coffee growing regions that you might have never had the opportunity to experience.

With that in mind, we’re thrilled to share this beautiful blend of two coffees from our friends at Pink Headed Duck (Myanmar) and Equation Coffee (Colombia). These coffees encapsulate our commitment this year, to share coffees with you that help you reminisce on familiar experiences while enjoying something very new. We’ve blended a bright and fruity anaerobic natural Papayo from Huila, Colombia and a dry processed natural from Myanmar.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We Taste: Berry Compote, Gingerbread, Honey

Juan David Chinchilla has been connected to coffee all his life. Growing up in the countryside, he learned from an early age that coffee was not just a crop, but part of his family’s daily rhythm and identity. Over the years, this connection grew into a commitment to continue the work of his parents and to dedicate his own path to coffee farming.

At La Cumbre, his farm in Palermo, Huila, Juan David focuses on producing specialty coffee with great care and discipline. For him, quality begins in the details: harvesting only ripe cherries, maintaining clean and organized processing areas, and applying thoughtful fertilization to keep the plants healthy and productive. These practices, carried out consistently over time, are what allow him to build trust in his work and to share coffee that meets the highest expectations.

50% Da La Pin - Myanmar
CO-OP: Shwe Taung Thu

LOCATION: Da La Pin, Ywangan, Myanmar

ALTITUDE: 1368 MASL

VARIETY: Catuai

PROCESS: Dry Natural

Like so many of the specialty coffee-producing villages in Myanmar, Da La Pin has had a
quick ascension to the top. In 2018, smallholder farmers here not only began specialty
coffee production but also made their first-ever sale! Their 13 members make a tenacious
team that is ready to keep increasing knowledge, quality and volume of specialty
production—making this village one of Shwe Taung Thu’s most impressive lots.

Nestled in Ywangan’s northern mountains near the famous Ta Lone Cha Waterfall, this
village is named after its unusual, more tropical residents. Da La Pin translates to “palm
tree,” and the towering, three-story-tall palm tree in the village center is the inspiration for the name—as well as the many areca palms nearby that are farmed for their fruit
